Macroeconomist Intern
The Bezos Earth Fund is a fast-growing philanthropy dedicated to combating climate change and protecting nature. To inform its strategy and investment decisions, the Bezos Earth Fund is committed to using the best available information on the challenges the world faces; the transformations required to address them, and the effectiveness of interventions to overcome barriers and drive systemic change. The Fund is interested in not only assessing how its support is having impact but also the ways in which transformative change can be created and maintained to address the Fund's strategic priorities.

The Initiative aims to expand and strengthen the community of practice whose work is used by decision makers in ministries of finance and other similar decision-making entities. The Initiative currently has over 30 teams from around the world with deep expertise in diverse modeling techniques which the Macroeconomist Intern will interact with and learn from.
This position is short term (six months) with potential for extension, and is part time (approximately 20 hours per week). The expected workload will require a little more than half of the time on administrative tasks and the remaining time on data analysis and programmatic work.
