Job Title: Pharmacy Assistant/PackerJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant/Packer who will be responsible for accurately packaging prescriptions to meet the specific requirements of facilities and patients. The role involves ensuring the safe transition of medications between packaging areas and couriers, maintaining equipment, and upholding proper storage and security conditions for the drug inventory.

Responsibilities
  • Package prescriptions according to the requirements of facilities and patients.
  • Transport medications between packaging areas for transition to couriers.
  • Clean and assist in the maintenance of equipment and work areas.
  • Assist in maintaining proper storage and security conditions for drug inventory.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in packing, prescription filling, order entry, and insurance processing.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in shipping, receiving, and packing.
  • Eligible to receive Minnesota Pharmacy Technician registration.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Minnesota Pharmacy Technician Registration.
  • Prior experience in a pharmacy setting.
Work Environment

The position operates Monday to Friday from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, with a requirement to work rotating weekends every 3rd or 4th week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
