Job description

An opportunity is available for an Oregon-licensed pharmacist to contribute to an EPIC conversion project within a hospital setting. This contract position spans approximately 8 weeks, starting in late August and continuing through mid-October.

Location: Beaverton, OR

Schedule:

  • Variable days and afternoons to accommodate project needs

Responsibilities:

  • Support the EPIC conversion initiative by ensuring pharmacy workflows are accurately transitioned and integrated
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize inpatient medication management during the transition
  • Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems to maintain accuracy and efficiency in medication dispensing and record-keeping
  • Provide expertise on pharmacy operations as related to the new electronic systems implementation

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current Oregon pharmacist license is required
  • Experience working in an inpatient hospital pharmacy setting
  • Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records, preferably with prior involvement in EPIC implementation or conversion projects
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to variable schedules
