What You Will Do:

Guidehouse Clinical Operations works with clients to measurably improve their operational outcomes through a mix of workforce strategies, improvement in resource utilization, and reduction in variation in care. By leveraging a deep understanding of health system and ambulatory operational best practices supported by data, Guidehouse drives margin and operational improvement across business and purchased services, supply cost, and clinical supply utilization at client provider organizations.Our team of clinicians and former administrators, government leaders, and health plan executives help healthcare organizations undertake cross-continuum clinical transformation efforts to generate sustained improvements in care access, efficiency, quality, and reliability. Areas of expertise include care and utilization management, throughput, post-acute care and readmissions, pharmacy and infusion, care transformation, and enabling care at home. Our person-centered approach engages and integrates clinical and operational workstreams that touch all aspects of the care continuum.

Consultants support project teams both on client engagements (on and off-site) and internal projects. Responsibilities will include client and project management, data and information analysis, solution implementation and generation of project results. As a Consultant, a key function of your role will be to support the development and creation of quality deliverables that support essential project workstreams. You will gather and analyze data, identify gaps and trends, and make recommendations related to baseline performance and structure, as well as established best practices and benchmarks.

What You Will Need:

  • Minimum Years of Experience: 0 years

  • Minimum Degree Status: Masters Degree (Must still be enrolled in an accredited graduate degree program through Fall 2026 and graduate by Summer 2027)

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Degree concentration in Business, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, Health Administration, Health Informatics, Health Management, Industrial and Operations Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or similar is preferred

  • Previous internship or work experience preferred

  • Healthcare provider or fellowship experience and/or education in health economics is strongly desired

  • Knowledge of Business Analytics software Access, SAS or R, and/or SQL

  • Passion for solving the most complex challenges facing the U.S. healthcare industry

  • Understanding of market/financial analysis in context of healthcare provider needs

  • Strong quantitative and organizational skills

  • Must be able to demonstrate written and oral communication and presentation skills

  • Excellent quantitative analysis skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to translate data into graphic or visual representations

  • Heavy travel (east coast to west coast) may be required, depending on client assignment

The annual salary range for this position is $68,000.00-$113,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
