Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of full-time Pharmacy Assistant (40 Hours/Week) at our Pharmacy located in our Food Store in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Assistant Pharmacy Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative's vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
Complete both manual and automated medication packaging including pouch strip, assorted blister packaging and central fill integration.
Stock and organize pharmacy shelves; monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and restocking.
Support the pharmacist in administrative tasks such as filing, paperwork, and communication with customers.
Ensure confidentiality and privacy of personal health information.
Perform Compounding duties (Level A).
Perform routine care and maintenance of dispensing automation (PACMED, ScriptPro).
Perform cashing duties, serve guests, and perform general housekeeping duties as required.
Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:
You are looking for a career in a progressive, patient-centred Pharmacy and meet the following:
Completed the Pharmacy Assistant Program Diploma and have a minimum of 3 years Pharmacy Assistant experience.
Experience in the operation and maintenance of dispensing automation systems.
Experience in pharmacy inventory management.
Well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production with minimum level of supervision.
Advanced technology skills including Kroll dispensing software, electronic ordering, dispensing automation.
Honest and trustworthy, results-oriented, and strive to be the best in the work that you do.
Attentive to detail, have point of sale system experience and thrive in a fast-paced, guest facing environment.
Possess manual dexterity along with keyboarding skills.
Flexible work schedule including evenings and weekends.
