# Supervising Pharmacist — Live Well Pharmacy (Brooklyn, NY)


Live Well Pharmacy is an independent, community-focused pharmacy in the Marine Park/Flatlands area of Brooklyn. We're not a chain — we know our patients by name, and we're growing fast across our clinical services. We're looking for a motivated Supervising Pharmacist to grow with us. Whether you're an experienced pharmacist (independent-pharmacy background especially valued) or a sharp recent graduate ready to take on real responsibility, we want to hear from you.


## Why this role is different


This isn't chain pharmacy. You'll have real ownership over operations, direct involvement in clinical services and hands-on patient care, and a genuine stake in the pharmacy's success. For experienced pharmacists, it's a chance to lead and be rewarded for growth. For newer pharmacists, it's a chance to be mentored directly by the owner and build toward full supervisory responsibility. Either way, it's a career, not just a job.


## Two paths into the role


- **Experienced (at least 1 year in an independent/community pharmacy):** Step into the Supervising Pharmacist role right away.

- **New graduates / those without independent pharmacy experience:** Begin with a structured, paid 3–6 month training period, then be promoted to Supervising Pharmacist once you're ready to carry the responsibility.


## What you'll do


- Oversee dispensing accuracy, workflow, and daily pharmacy operations

- Ensure compliance with NYS Board of Pharmacy and all applicable regulations

- Mentor and supervise pharmacists, technicians, and support staff

- Lead and support our clinical services: medication synchronization, adherence packaging, immunizations, DSMES diabetes education, and prior authorization support

- Counsel patients and build strong relationships with prescribers and the community


## What we're looking for


- Active New York State pharmacist license in good standing

- All experience levels welcome — independent/community pharmacy experience is a strong plus, but recent graduates with the right attitude are encouraged to apply

- Strong clinical knowledge and a patient-first mindset

- Experience with or eagerness to learn our clinical services

- Immunization certification (or willingness to obtain)

- Reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to grow with an independent pharmacy


## What we offer


- **Compensation (based on experience and track):**

- New graduates (paid training track): $120,000–$140,000 during the paid training period, increasing on promotion to Supervising Pharmacist

- Experienced pharmacists (Supervising Pharmacist from day one): $150,000–$180,000, based on experience

- Growth-based earning potential up to $200,000 for those who help drive the pharmacy's success

- **4-day work week** — four 10-hour days, with a consistent and predictable schedule
