What is an RPh pharmacist?

An RPh pharmacist is a licensed pharmacist who has earned the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree and is registered with the relevant licensing board. However, regional variations and the increasing number of pharmacy graduates may influence job availability, so competition could vary by location and specific market conditions.

Can pharmacists diagnose skin rashes?

Pharmacists are trained to identify common skin conditions and recommend over-the-counter treatments, but they do not diagnose skin rashes definitively. If a rash is severe, persistent, or accompanied by other symptoms, a healthcare provider should be consulted for proper diagnosis and treatment. Pharmacists can advise on appropriate products and when to seek further medical care.
