Job description

The 340B Program Manager oversees activities related to the organization’s 340B program across pharmacy and partner healthsystem arrangements. Responsibilities include monitoring program requirements, preparing routine reports on key metrics, coordinating contractpharmacy processes, and carrying out tasks necessary to maintain alignment with 340B standards. The role also contributes to oversight of drug purchasing, inventory workflows, dispensing patterns, and adherence to applicable federal 340B guidelines.


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Accounting, Finance, Business, or Healthcare

  • Three years of experience in areas such as 340B auditing, analysis, program oversight, regulatory compliance, project coordination, or pharmacy operations

  • Apexus Advanced 340B Operations Certification is preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

  • Strong communication and organizational abilities

  • Professional phone interaction skills


  • Serve as the organizational resource for 340B and maintain alignment with program requirements.

  • Maintain policies, procedures, and documentation in accordance with state, federal, and program standards.

  • Coordinate contractpharmacy activities including setup, data elements, and ongoing monitoring,

  • Manage HRSA database accuracy and ensure timely registration of new sites.

  • Monitor purchasing, utilization, and inventory workflows including reconciliation of invoices and review of pricing.

  • Conduct internal compliance reviews and coordinate external assessments when needed.

  • Develop and deliver training for staff and partner organizations involved in 340B processes.

  • Prepare routine program reports documenting utilization, financial impact, and identified risks.

  • Track program metrics and evaluate data to identify operational needs.

  • Maintain communication with leadership regarding program activities, findings, and updates.

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external entities including wholesalers, manufacturers, pharmacies, and applicable agencies.
