Job description

Position Summary:
The Pharmacist dispenses medicines and preparations in the hospital according to the orders given by physicians and others authorized by law and hospital rules regulations and  by laws to prescribe; fills prescriptions for inpatients and outpatients according to hospital policy; furnishes information concerning medicines to physicians and nurses and others. Follows pharmacy, policy and procedure in accordance with the hospital policies.

Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited School of Pharmacy from an accredited School of Pharmacy in the United States. Must meet or exceed continuing education requirements set by the NC Board of Pharmacy and JCAHO. Should have at least one year of experience as a licensed Pharmacist, b exceptional educational scores will be accepted in lieu of one year's experience.
