Job description

What Weโ€™re Looking For
The Warehouse Associate I position requires picking bulk materials for production, picking finished goods for delivery to customers, stocking shelves, general maintenance and other warehouse related duties.
What You Will Do
โ€ข Stock raw material goods from receiving
โ€ข Pick raw material goods per production plan and deliver to designated areas within the warehouse
โ€ข Stock finished good material from production to designated shelves
โ€ข Process returns from internal and external customers
โ€ข Process and complete orders according to customer requirements
โ€ข Prior to product shipment, count all products, compare to packing slip, and check all shipments for damage, infestation and expiration dates
โ€ข Report shortages, damages and miss picks on appropriate forms and inform Warehouse Supervisors of the corrections needed
โ€ข Check contents of all orders
โ€ข Compare the quantity, quality, labeling, and address with customer's order to insure outgoing shipments are complete and correct
โ€ข Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards
โ€ข Follow PCCA's Standard Operating Procedures
โ€ข Assists with related special/miscellaneous projects, as required
Who You Are
โ€ข High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
โ€ข Prior experience in a warehouse environment
โ€ข Ability to effectively communicate
โ€ข Ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to change
โ€ข Excellent organizational, interpersonal and math skills
โ€ข Must be detail oriented and a self-starter
โ€ข Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
โ€ข Ability to work overtime with short notice
โ€ข Excellent verbal and written communication skills
โ€ข Entry level computer skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook and the Internet
โ€ข MFG-PRO/AIM-warehouse management systems and RF scanner experience preferred
โ€ข Warehouse logistics and forklift experience
Physical Requirements
โ€ข This position requires daily standing, bending, reaching
โ€ข Must be capable of lifting up to but not limited to 75lbs
โ€ข Ascending or descending stairs, ramps and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms
โ€ข Ascending or descending ladders, scaffolding, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.
โ€ข Bending legs downward and forward by bending leg and spine.
โ€ข Moving about on foot to accomplish task, particularly for long distances.
โ€ข Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward.
โ€ข Standing, particularly for sustained periods of time.
โ€ข Using upper extremities to exert force in order to move objects in a sustained motion.
โ€ข Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving object horizontally from position to position.
โ€ข Substantial movements (motion) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers in a repetitive manner.
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, pull, or otherwise move objects.
