Job Summary
We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with strong scripting and test automation experience to support a fast-paced, data-driven application initiative. The ideal candidate will have a software development mindset, hands-on experience with TypeScript, Playwright, API testing, and SQL, and be comfortable validating application functionality, APIs, and backend data. This role requires close collaboration with developers and QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using TypeScript and Playwright.
• Create, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks.
• Perform API testing and validation across distributed applications.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate backend data integrity using SQL queries and database testing.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and debug application and data-related issues.
• Collaborate with developers to identify, reproduce, and resolve software defects.
• Participate in test planning, test execution, defect tracking, and release validation.
• Support quality assurance activities within Agile development environments.
• Develop and maintain test documentation, test cases, and automation scripts.
• Ensure application quality, reliability, and performance through automated testing best practices.
Required Qualifications
• Experience as a QA Automation Engineer, SDET, or Automation Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Experience testing RESTful APIs.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation, troubleshooting, and backend testing.
• Experience debugging application and database-related issues.
• Experience working closely with software development teams.
• Pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience.
