Job Description:
 
We are seeking a part-time lab technician to join our BioSeparations team. The position is for up to 8 hours per week with flexibility on how the hours are distributed. The successful candidate will mainly be responsible for the cleaning of labware with the possibility of expanding the role to include other tasks such as solution/buffer preparations.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Clean and put away labware.
  • Preparation of solutions/buffers.
Requirements:
  • Education Requirement(s): High School Diploma at a minimum.
Skill & Competency Requirements: (list 3 to 5 non-negotiable items such as years of experience, industry of preference, specific knowledge items, professional certifications, skills, abilities, etc.)
 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols meticulously
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Preferences: (list nice-to-haves such a specific knowledge items, certifications, skills, abilities, etc.)
  • General knowledge of labware and laboratory practices
  • Familiarity with chemistry and biochemistry is a plus.
