  • The Primary Care Physician some will be required to travel to the surrounding community-based outpatient clinics based on a rotating schedule.
  • Collaborate with other agencies or health facilities on behalf of patients and their families to arrange admissions to hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and skilled nursing facilities.
  • Organize emergency ground and/or air medical transport as required.
  • The Primary Care Physician diagnoses medical conditions and order appropriate laboratory tests, imaging studies (e.g., X-rays), and other diagnostic procedures as needed.
  • Analyze clinical data, develop therapeutic programs, and communicate information effectively to patients and their families.
  • Follow up on treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
  • Recognize the need for referral to a mental health professional when necessary.
  • Consult independently with medical and surgical specialists to discuss patient care.
  • The Primary Care Physician prescribes medications and treatment therapies in coordination with nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare personnel.

Primary Care Physician - REQUIREMENTS
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Medicine with an MD or DO degree.
  • Should be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine/Family Practice.
  • Must have at least a minimum of 1 year of experience in a Family Practice.
  • Must have an active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. state.
