Position Summary...

Our laboratory works with pharmaceutical companies, compounding and hospital pharmacies, drug manufacturers, and raw material suppliers bringing excellence to pharmaceutical sciences and making pharmaceuticals safer. This role provides financial, clerical, and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate billing to customers to our customers and calls for someone who enjoys numerical and financial analysis, loves detail, enjoys working in Excel, and can lead a team.

This is a full-time role
Work Schedule: Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Work Restrictions: Because of vital nature of this work, we do not allow medical marijuana cards and we do random drug testing on all of our employees.
Essential Functions...
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the invoicing department.
  • Managing, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Assist the team with invoice generation.
  • Carry out billing, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.
  • Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Generate accounts receivables aging analysis.
  • Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records.
  • Process credit card payments.
  • Investigate and resolve customer inquiries.
  • Develop a recovery system and initiate collection efforts.
  • Communicate with customers via phone, email, or mail.
  • Assist with month-end closing.
  • Collect data and prepare monthly metrics.
Position Requirements...
  • 2-4 years accounts receivable and general accounting experience
  • Knowledge of office administration and procedures
  • Experience with general bookkeeping procedures
  • Knowledge of general accounting principals
  • Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, Word and Outlook
This position has supervisory responsibility.

This job operates in a professional office environment.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands...
This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. Also, the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing is required.
