Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:
Member Events
  • Manages all Reynolds Lake Oconee club events as well as Member Only Golf Events, not to include the MGA, WGA18 and WGA9
  • Meets with Golf Committee, Director of Golf and Head Professionals to plan events
  • Develops innovative tournament formats and programs
  • Orders and coordinates all tee gifts with the Director of Retail as well as other awards related to the member events
  • Ensures that all tee times are set up for each event and do not conflict with other member events, Ritz Carlton Group Golf and works in conjunction with the concierge team
  • Develops and reconciles all tournament budgets
  • Submits Tournament results and information to Golf Operations Coordinator after each event has concluded
  • Maintains web page for tournament registration, information and results
  • Coordinates and collects all survey results and information for all tournaments played to be relayed to the Golf Committee for review
  • Keeps records of events, including budgets, menus, and results for future reference

External Competitive Tournaments
  • Coordinates all tournament play and related details of external competitive events in coordination with the Group Golf Coordinator
  • Acts as liaison to host university coaches for all aspects of Linger Longer Invitational
  • Acts as a liaison to the following events: AJGA Junior All-Star, Chick-fil-A, Reynolds Cup and any scheduled events of the sort
  • Acts as a liaison to all competitive events that are generated through Reynolds Cottage program.

Qualifications/ Requirements/Experience/ Education:
  • Minimum of 3 years as an assistant golf professional
  • Preferred level II PGA PGM, required to be enrolled in the PGA PGM program
  • Prior experience administering member golf events at a private golf club
  • Strong understanding of the USGA Rules of Golf
  • Strong understanding of Golf Genius or similar tournament software programming
  • Good people skills; able to converse easily
  • Excellent organization skills while handling multiple tasks
  • Valid driver's license - required
