PFM Auto & Fleet is hiring a B-Level Fleet Diesel Technician for 2nd Shift in Indianapolis, IN. What You'll Do

 As a 2nd Shift B-Level Technician, you'll handle mid- to advanced-level diagnostics and repairs, including: 

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on medium and heavy-duty trucks, plus light-duty vehicles
  • Brake services & suspension work
  • Alignment, cooling system, and engine repair
  • General automotive repair & maintenance
  • Inspect vehicles thoroughly to identify needed repairs and services
  • Electrical repairs & diagnosis
  • Vehicle safety inspections
  • Communicate with Service Advisors and occasionally customers about vehicle conditions
  • Maintain shop cleanliness and safety standards
  • Assist with quality control and support team workflow
  • Promote a safe work environment and uphold company values

Requirements

 What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: 3+ years as a Diesel Technician or equivalent training
  • 2ND SHIFT AVAILABILITY - M-F: 2PM-11PM EST
  • Certifications: State/local certifications required; ASE preferred
  • Skills: 
    • Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
    • Ability to use diagnostic tools and shop management software
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Requirements: 
    • Valid U.S. driver's license and insurable driving record
    • Own set of up-to-date tools
    • Willingness to work toward ASE certifications
