Retail Manager

Picket Fence Foundation is looking for an energetic, organized and mission-driven Retail Manager to lead a store where every purchase supports opportunity, belonging and inclusion. The Retail Manager sets the tone for the entire customer and employee experience. You will lead the retail team, drive sales, create exciting displays, maintain dependable systems and ensure that every person who enters PFF feels welcomed and valued.


What You’ll Do

  • Daily store operations and customer experience
  • Retail employees, schedules, training and performance
  • Sales-floor workflow, productivity and task completion
  • Merchandising, seasonal displays and promotions
  • Inventory, receiving, pricing and product organization
  • Point-of-sale and cash-handling procedures
  • Opening, closing and store-readiness systems
  • Welcome Counter and customer-service functions
  • Retail sales, trends and performance reporting
  • Collaboration with Floral, Greenhouse, Programs and Facilities
  • Retail planning as a member of the Organization Leadership Team

Position Details

Reports to: Executive Director
Supervises: Retail team
Schedule: Full-time, with occasional flexibility for urgent or seasonal needs
Compensation: $20–$24 per hour, approximately $41,600–$49,920 annually
