Job description

Job Title: Operator
Department: Assembly
Job Summary:
The Assembly Operator supports production by performing detailed manual tasks such as assembling, machining, inspecting, part marking, and packaging of components. The role requires precision, the use of hand tools, and strict adherence to quality and safety standards. Success in this position depends on the ability to follow instructions, maintain accurate records, and collaborate effectively with others.
Location Yorba Linda CA. $18hr Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm
Responsibilities:
  1. Assembly & Production
    • Perform routine assembly, fitting, fastening, and packaging tasks according to work instructions, blueprints, and standard operating procedures
    • Operate simple production equipment for loading, unloading, or assisting in assembly processes
    • maintain a clean and organized work area
    • Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and assembly machinery safely and efficiently
    • Follow production schedules to ensure timely completion of work orders
  2. Quality & Documentation
    • Conduct visual inspections of parts for defects such as flash, short shots, or damage
    • Verify box sealing, labeling, palletizing, and packaging meet company and customer requirements
    • Record production activity and maintain accurate documentation in the work order system
    • Follow procedures for handling and returning visual reference samples provided by Quality
  3. Team Support & Compliance
    • Request assistance from Leads or Supervisor when additional information or instructions are needed
    • Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflow and meet production goals
    • Follow company safety rules and immediately report any hazards or unsafe behavior
    • Perform other duties as assigned to support company operations

Qualification:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Basic reading, math, and writing skills required
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete repetitive tasks accurately
