Experienced HVAC Service Technician

Petra Heating & Air Conditioning is looking to add an Experienced HVAC Service Technician with 5+ years of field experience to join our phenomenal team.

Pay scale: $34.00 - $45.00 per hour, dependent upon experience; opportunities for overtime, commissions, and spiffs + benefits

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of HVAC experience
  • Valid driver's license with a company-insurable driving record
  • Refrigerant handlers license
  • Excellent communication skills with customers and coworkers
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair furnaces, heat pumps, and ductless systems
  • High school diploma or its equivalent

Desired Qualifications:

  • NATE Certification
  • Oil furnace troubleshooting and repair experience
  • Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques
  • Ability to get Washington State Electrical License within 2 years

Duties:

  • Perform residential and light commercial preventative maintenance and inspections.
  • Maintain and repair residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems.
  • Complete maintenance checklist and service orders.
  • Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems
