Veterinary Technician Wanted: Animal Whisperer, Treat Distributor, and Medical Rockstar

Do you speak fluent "woof," understand the subtle art of cat negotiations, and believe every pet deserves VIP treatment? If so, we may have the perfect role for you.

Tidewater Veterinary is searching for an enthusiastic Veterinary Technician who is ready to make a difference in the lives of pets and the people who love them.

What You'll Do

  • Assist veterinarians during exams, surgeries, and procedures
  • Collect samples, run diagnostics, and help solve medical mysteries
  • Comfort nervous pets (and occasionally nervous humans)
  • Administer medications and treatments
  • Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery
  • Educate pet owners on keeping their furry family members healthy
  • Accept unlimited gratitude from puppies, kittens, and their humans

What We're Looking For

  • Veterinary Technician experience, license preferred but not required
  • A passion for animal care and client service
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team player mentality with a positive attitude
  • Talent for finding hidden tennis balls under exam tables is a bonus
  • Ability to work a rotating Saturday schedule
