Job Description:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging studies using radiopharmaceuticals in the radiology department. Responsibilities include preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring the safety of patients and staff. Experience in PET technology is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Operate imaging equipment, including Siemens PET/CT Biograph Vision and Siemens E.CAMs.
  • Maintain safety standards and protocols for radiation exposure.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and use EPIC charting system.

Requirements:

  • BLS Certification
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB Certificate
  • Driver's license for mileage verification
  • Preferred: DOT Certification for contract extension
