We're Looking For a Senior Director, Supply Chain

Location: Richfield, WI (Hybrid)

The Senior Director, Supply Chain will be responsible for the entire Supply Chain function for the two manufacturing plants. This responsibility will include the procurement of materials and plant supplies, scheduling production for both facilities, maintaining appropriate inventory levels required for production, completing regular audits of material inventories, the day-to-day shipping and receiving of materials and the management of the sales and operations planning process.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of supply chain initiatives and processes, including planning, procurement, vendor management, strategic sourcing, inventory management and shipping/receiving for both manufacturing plants. Ensure entire supply chain is efficient, on-time and cost effective
  • Oversee the S&OP process, partnering regularly with cross-functional leadership on forecasts, inventory management, and to ensure alignment across departments and facilities
  • Establish and monitor success measures to evaluate and the effectiveness and efficiency of supply chain operations for both manufacturing plants
  • Lead cross collaboration between the supply chain organization at both manufacturing facilities and other departments, including Product Development, QA, Accounting, Customer Service and Marketing
  • Coach and mentor supply chain employees, providing coaching and feedback on a regular and as-needed basis
  • Assist in the management existing supplier relationships and source new ones as needed
  • Assist in maintenance purchasing as necessary
  • Assist in the ongoing management of the ERP system for inventory control
  • Communicate issues, concerns and recommendations, including corrective and preventative action plans
  • Oversee all direct supply chain and product related spend

  • Working knowledge of ERP systems and understanding of how the systems work for inventory and purchasing
  • Attention to detail and ability to understand the big picture and importance details
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize duties with competing deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interface with vendors, customers and employees at all levels in the organization with ease and comfort
