Technician Assistant
Hourly Pay Rate: $17-21.50 (based on experience and skill level)
Location: Lakewood, Colorado
Positions available in our ER/ICU, Internal Medicine, and Surgery Departments

We are a privately owned, AAHA-accredited, 26,000 sq ft specialty and emergency hospital located at the base of the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Our state-of-the-art facility includes a 2,500 sq ft ICU featuring Snyder units and high-flow oxygen therapy, designed to support our most critical patients. We also offer a newly expanded, four-suite surgery center and an on-site blood bank to support advanced procedures and trauma care. Your Role as a Technician Assistant
As an essential part of our team, the Technician Assistant (TA) plays a key support role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care for a variety of patients. This position is perfect for someone who is reliable, observant, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where every task contributes to saving lives.
You’ll support the team by:
Helping to maintain patient comfort and cleanliness, assisting with patient restraint for procedures, restocking and preparing supplies, walking and caring for hospitalized patients, and aiding in the smooth daily operations of the hospital.
Requirements
Required: High School graduate or equivalent.
Preferred: Minimum 1 year related experience in a veterinary hospital.
Preferred: BLS CPR certification.
Preferred: Technician Assistant Certification.
Schedule
Typical schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts

Work Environment amp; Physical Demands
This role is physically active and fast-paced. You’ll need to:
Lift up to 50 lbs frequently
Kneel, stoop, crouch, and be on your feet for long periods
Operate medical and office equipment
Work around biological hazards and cleaning agents
Communicate clearly in noisy environments
