Job description

The Bark Club is a dog grooming/self-serve dog wash, and pet store. We opened in October of 2021 and continue to grow and build a pet loving community.

We are looking for someone to join our team who has experience with dogs, including how to trim and grind nails, as well as some experience in retail.

Experience with CBD for dogs, raw and whole food feeding, and holistic supplements is preferred, but we do offer specific trainings for those candidates interested in learning more.

Our front desk team is responsible for greeting customers, both human and non-human, as they enter our store. The ideal candidate will possess reliable customer service skills, knowledge of products we sell, ability to suggest products based on customers wants, previous experience using a point of sale system to ring customers out, experience handling dogs of all sizes, knowledge of dog breeds and ability to perform nail trims.

In addition, the Front Desk Receptionist will be responsible for updating the appointments calendar, handling various tasks associated with the front desk, cleaning self wash rooms between appointments, helping our groomers with various tasks, making sure laundry is getting done throughout the day. This position requires a hard-working, detail-oriented individual who is able to work both independently and as a member of our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers.
  • Answer phones.
  • Book grooming/self-wash appointments.
  • Clean self wash rooms between appointments
  • Keep up with laundry
  • Price inventory
  • Re-stock shelves.
  • Suggest products.
  • Check in/check out clients for grooming and self wash.
  • Ring out customers.

*Candidate must be able to work AT LEAST ONE WEEKEND DAY in order to be considered for position! Weekends are mainly self-wash and we tend to get very busy.

Wednesday 9:30-5 p.m.

Friday 9:30-3/5 p.m.

Saturday 9:30-3 p.m.

Sunday 9:30- 2 p..m.
