Job description

The Shield Co. Management / EcoShield Pest Solutions is one of the fastest-growing pest control companies in the country! This position is on-site and reports to our Houston, Texas (77092) branch.

The Seasonal Start Technician is responsible for providing 5-star customer service to new customers, performing the first pest control application by applying chemicals and other manual solutions to eliminate pests. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Perform initial indoor and outdoor pest control applications for new customers, ensuring thoroughness and attention to detail. 
  • Interact with customers to explain service features and benefits, providing exceptional customer service. 
  • Follow scheduled routes, communicate with office staff and managers, and maintain accurate, organized records. 
  • Maintain equipment, vehicle, and personal safety gear in good working condition, while utilizing technology to manage appointments and customer records. 

Qualifications: 

  • 1+ years of customer service experience, preferred.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older, posses a valid driver’s license and have 3+ consecutive years of driving history as driving a company vehicle is an essential function of this role.  Driving record must meet the company’s insurance standards. 
  • Earn and maintain state-required training and pest control licensing if applicable (provided). 

Required Availability:

  • Monday through Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Sunday: Off 

Pay and Benefits:
