Job Summary
Potomac Pest and Termite Control is a family owned, locally trust pest management company seeking a reliable, motivated Pest Control Technician to join our growing team. No previous pest control experience is required. We provide on the job training. This is  a great company for someone who enjoys hands-on works, problem solving and customer service. 

Responsibilities: 
  • Inspect the interior and exterior of buildings and the surrounding environment to identify pest activity, entry. points and conducive conditions
  • Perform residential and commercial pest control services according to company standards and state regulations 
  • Determine the types of pests and best possible treatment options
  • Implement various pest control methods to treat the areas
  • Accurately complete service reports, documentation and recommendations 
  • Maintain service vehicle, tools and equipment in clean and working condition 
  • Follow all safety protocols, company procedures, and regulatory requirements 
  • Communicate clearly with office staff, regarding schedules, findings and customer needs 
Qualifications: 
  • Previous experience as a Pest Control Technician or in a similar position preferred but NOT required
  • High school diploma/GED preferred
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including standing for extended periods and crawling in small spaces 
  • MUST be comfortable with climbing on roofs and ladders 
  • MUST have a clean driving record 
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols when dealing with potentially hazardous materials
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain detailed records of payment and chemicals used
