Our Position
Branch Managers are responsible for creating a highly effective team of employees so that the branch successfully meets and exceeds budgeted goals in sales, service, customer satisfaction, and cost control. Branch Managers are responsible to recruit, hire, and train all branch employees, execute sales and production goals, provide tailored coaching and action plans to motivate employees, monitor the P&L, conduct branch meetings, provide in-the-field leadership, and ensure that the customers receive exceptional customer service and have positive experiences with every interaction.

Your Responsibilities
  • Review the financial performance of the branch including developing long and short-term financial plans, monitoring the budgets and ensuring sound financial controls are in place.
  • Create and maintain a safety-first culture that seeks to provide the best products and services in a way that protects both our customers and employees.
  • Partner with Region Directors to execute strategic sales and production plans to meet monthly branch goals, provide customized action plans to motivate sales and service staff including holding effective coaching sessions weekly.
  • Provide direction and assign tasks to service staff in their functional areas ensuring compliance, proper training, adherence to company policies, and safety.
  • Listen and respond to customer complaints and work to resolve issues/concerns ensuring follow up.
  • No less than 60% of working hours will be spent providing in-the-field leadership by riding with staff to personally inspect jobs, assess progress, ensure compliance and proper techniques, increase management-level presence with customers, and provide additional support to team members.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the new construction and builder program.
  • Assists in the recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training of all branch employees.
  • Partner with human resources to address team member relation issues including performance, attendance, etc.
  • Maintain and approve team member timecards through payroll system.
  • Maintain proper inventory of pest control, termite, lawn, and related products and issue to Service Professionals as appropriate.
  • Adhere to company pricing and sales guidelines.
  • Assist with the integration of new acquisitions with the procedures, systems, branding, and other aspects to align with Rocket Pest's standard business operations.
  • Monitor PestPac and other systems to ensure sales/service professionals and administrative staff have access, proper training, and full visibility/functionality to operate daily operations.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Maintaining assigned service vehicle, equipment and tools in clean/good working condition.
  • Adhering and abiding by all driving laws and maintaining assigned service vehicle, equipment and tools in clean/good working condition.
  • Ability to read and understand product/PPE labels accurately to ensure that they are properly applied, stored and disposed of in compliance with State and Federal laws.
  • Inspect properties for additional pest and/or lawn service needs to generate leads and/or proposals and close sales, if necessary.
  • Managing company credit card(s), and expense reports.
  • Participating in collections efforts.
  • Additional projects as assigned.

Our Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of related experience in the service industry and in a leadership capacity.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, quick learner, resourceful.
  • Demonstrated experience with executive decision-making and P&L responsibility.
  • Proven experience in team building skills to build consensus, rally support around common goals and to motivate groups and individuals.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Required to use 40ft ladder.
  • Must be able to walk, climb, stoop, reach, crawl, crouch, kneel, push, pull and lift at least 50lbs or more.
  • Ability to calculate basic math.
  • Working in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position; where a momentary lapse of concentration can result in serious injury, death, environmental consequences, or data breach.
  • Must be able to work Saturdays.
  • Must be able to pass a seven-year criminal background check.
  • Must be able to pass substance abuse testing.
  • Must be able to pass a three-year motor vehicle report and meet minimum eligibility requirements criteria of insurance carrier.
