About Us: Pest Arrest is a growth-oriented, family-owned and operated Pest Control company serving the Santa Clarita area for over 30 years. As we expand throughout LA and Ventura counties, we are seeking experienced and licensed pest control technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate is friendly, service-oriented, and knowledgeable about various pests and their habitats. We’re excited to explore the opportunity for you join us at Pest Arrest and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to quality service and customer satisfaction!
 
 
Requirements:
  • Licenses/Certifications: Possess a current state pesticide technician certification/license, such as a California Applicator or Field Representative license. Additional certifications may be required and trained for, based on specific job duties.
  • Experience: Licensed Technicians preferably should possess 6 months to one year of relevant experience in the field. 
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English (With proficiency in Spanish considered a plus but not required.)
  • Background Check: Successfully pass a background check.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a presentable, clean appearance.
  • Time Management: Demonstrate strong time management and task prioritization skills.
  • Driver's License: Hold a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting weights ranging from 20 to 50 lbs. Comfortable with extended periods of walking, crawling, standing, or sitting. Able to maneuver through attics and crawlspaces.
  • Transportation: Have reliable transportation to and from work.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Inspect the interior and exterior of buildings and the surrounding environment for any signs of infestation
  • Effectively communicate discovered issues to customers.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Utilize operating software on a phone or tablet for scheduling and tracking job details.
  • Respond to customer inquiries professionally and knowledgeably.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of pests and remediation methods.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols when dealing with potentially hazardous materials
  • Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
  • Ability to maintain detailed records of payment and chemicals used

  • Compensation: We offer a competitive compensation plan which includes $18 Per hour + Percentage of days route + the ability to earn further commissions!
