Adapt Pest Pros is hiring a full-time Pest Control Technician to join our growing team serving the Portland metro area. This is a great opportunity for someone who's reliable, hands-on, and looking to build a long-term career in a stable, in-demand trade. No prior pest control experience is required — we provide full paid training during your first 90 days, including hands-on field training toward your Oregon pesticide applicator license. Plus, you'll drive a company vehicle home each night — no shop stops, start and end your day from your own driveway. If you're motivated, personable, and want a job where your effort translates directly into higher pay, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Perform residential and commercial pest control treatments for common pests including ants, cockroaches, rats, mice, spiders, wasps, and other general pest issues
  • Conduct thorough property inspections to identify pest activity, conducive conditions, and entry points
  • Apply pesticides and treatments safely and in accordance with label instructions and Oregon Department of Agriculture (ODA) regulations
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers about findings, treatment plans, and prevention recommendations
  • Maintain accurate service records, route schedules, and documentation using our field service software
  • Identify and recommend additional services or exclusion work where appropriate
  • Maintain company vehicle, equipment, and supplies in clean, safe, working condition
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain proper PPE use on every job
Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, and accessing crawl spaces, attics, and other tight areas
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage a daily route independently
  • Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical labor throughout the day
  • Prior pest control, lawn care, HVAC, or other field service experience is a plus, but not required — we train the right candidate
  • Willingness to obtain an Oregon Pesticide Operator license (training and support provided)
Pay and Schedule
  • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
  • Take-Home Vehicle: Start and end your day from home — drive the company vehicle directly to your first stop and back, no shop commute
  • Training Period (First 90 Days): $20/hour while you complete paid, hands-on training
  • After Training: $21/hour base pay, plus commission on sales
  • Long-term earning potential grows as you build your route and client relationships
