Posterity Group LLC is a veteran owned, service-disabled small business, headquartered in Rockville, MD, that specializes in federal government contracting and staffing. We are tasked with staffing The Orlando VA Healthcare System with Dentists. The Dentist are expected to perform the following: 

  •  Performs a full range of professional dental tasks including treatment of commonly encountered dental diseases or dental health problems requiring standard corrective, restorative or preventive measures such as single and multiple teeth extractions, restoration of simple and compound cavities with standard and prescribed material, taking mouth impressions for crowns, jackets, dentures and bridges and fitting and inserting the finished appliances.
  •  Ensures correct patient identification through the use of at least two unique patient identifiers and perform site verification, as required. Enters workload production data into reporting system.  


Requirements

  • Degree: Doctor of Medical in Dentistry (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).  
  • Education: Graduate from an accredited dental school approved by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental Association (ADA). Specialty Dentist must be a graduate of a dental specialty training program that is accredited by the CODA of the ADA.  
  • Certification: Board eligible or board certified as required in the TO. Dental specialists shall have a certificate of training in their specialty area from an ADA-accredited residency training program.  
  • Internship/Residency: Specialty Dentist: Completed a clinical post-doctoral program approved by the ADA in the specialty identified in the TO.  
  • Experience: Dentist must have 5 years' experience within the last 6 years working in a Military Dental Treatment Facility.  Must know how to utilize and operate Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA) and Composite Health Care System (CHCS) patient systems.  Must be familiar with Personnel Reliability Program (PRP) dental patients and the special procedures for these patients. 
  • Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a dentist.
