Job Description:
Summary Statement: The Personal Stylist Manager is responsible for cultivating and driving the Personal Stylist program within their respective location. The Personal Stylist Manager is deeply committed to fostering client relationships through the development and coaching of the Personal Stylists; specifically focused on retaining and growing the lifetime value of loyal clients. They act as a strategic business manager to the Personal Stylists and hold them accountable to delivering results and achieving KPI's.
Responsibilities & Duties
People and Business leadership
• Responsible for recruiting, hiring and training new Personal Stylists as well as participates in the development of potential NM associates to grow into the Personal Stylist program.
• Provides frequent coaching and development of Personal Stylists through one-on-one strategy sessions to identify client engagement and spend opportunity based on lifestyle and shopping history.
• Assist Personal Stylists in creating a successful outreach strategy that enables them to grow their business through digital selling and in-person FRE's.
• Offers product knowledge, trend updates and selling skills to drive wardrobing and styling.
• Proactively builds positive and productive relationships with brand partners and merchants to meet the unique needs of our clients.
• Manage the operational aspects of the Personal Styling Studio and business to optimize processes, inventory, and client experience. Inclusive of tracking special order/merchandise deliveries.
• Assists Personal Stylists with the leadership/management of the Stylist assistants to maximize resources and improve productivity.
Relationships and Experiences
• Driver of customer cultivation; assist the Personal Stylists to create individualized strategies to develop/nourish existing client base and foster/grow new client pipeline.
• Establishes and maintains a strong local community network through philanthropic involvement, partnerships as well as attending social and seasonal events.
• Strategically leverages VIC/PCR experiences for Top and High potential clients.
• Partners with Client Development, Brand Experience, Restaurants, Merchants, and Brands to strategize, plan and deliver extraordinary, personalized events for the Personal Stylist team.
• Coach Personal Stylists to leverage the services that define the Neiman Marcus experience.
Qualifications
• Motivated and results-driven with a proven ability to build teams and drive results through people
• Remains an expert in selling across all categories and is knowledgeable about product
• 6-8 years of relevant experience, luxury retail fashion experience preferred
• 4-year degree preferred
• Proven track record achieving business results
• History of building, leading, motivating, and coaching teams to achieve objectives
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail

• Associates must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on business need, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays
