Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our policyholders, assisting them with inquiries, policy updates, claims processes, billing questions, and general support related to insurance products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist clients with policy information, coverage details, premiums, and billing concerns
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, and renewals
  • Educate customers about insurance products, services, and procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in CRM systems
  • Escalate complex issues to supervisors or specialized departments as needed
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and privacy laws
  • Collaborate with underwriters, agents to resolve customer needs

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–2 years of customer service experience, preferably in the insurance industry but not required
  • Familiarity with insurance products (e.g., auto, home, umbrella, general liability, commercial auto etc) is a plus - No License required
  • Strong communication and active listening skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in computer systems
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • State insurance license (if required or preferred by the role)
