BlueStar is a boutique management firm focused on supporting developers, asset managers, and community Boards in the successful operation of their resort and golf amenities. Our expertise is in all aspects of hospitality management, including golf, spa, food & beverage, community clubs, and more, particularly in active adult or age-qualified residential communities. We also provide full-scale landscape services in some locations. Our portfolio spans literally from coast to coast, with many beautiful locations in between.

Pay: $25 per hour
Benefits:
New hourly full-time team members working 30 hours or more per week, will be eligible for the Company medical, dental and life insurance plans the first of the month following 60 days of full-time employment.
Full-Time team members are eligible to accrue Paid Time Off ("PTO") in accordance with the Company policy at a rate of 120 hours per year.
Full-Time team members are eligible for 7 paid holidays annually.
Part-Time team members are eligible to accrue Paid Sick Leave in accordance with state guidelines.
All team members 21 years and older are eligible to participate in the J.F. Shea Co., Inc. 401(k) plan after completion of 30 days of service.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Retail Operations Coordinator works directly with the Director of Retail to achieve defined targets for online and in-store retail performance. To be successful in this role, the Retail Operations Coordinator must value style, precision, accuracy, time management, and hard work. This position reports to the Director of Retail.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Communicate the core values and mission of BlueStar Resort & Golf (BSRG) to support the achievement of company goals.
  • Create a productive and enjoyable work environment to inspire, motivate, and lead by example, with an intention to recognize team member performance.
  • Understand the sales goals and assist in achieving targets for retail revenues.
  • Proficient operation of computer programs such as basic shipping software, Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Word), online ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, etc.
  • Attend to detail of data integrity while completing multiple tasks.
  • Fulfill online customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Respond to customers, review, process, and restock returns and exchanges.
  • Organize inventory, receive shipments, distribute, and bill accordingly.
  • Follow proper inventory and purchasing procedures.
  • Run and review retail reports.
  • Provide administrative assistance, as requested; vendor follow ups and purchase orders.
  • Manage multiple concurrent assignments, including all elements which support Marketing and Communications, including presentation development, photography videography, copywriting, creative planning, and project management.
  • Copywriting for online and print marketing materials, including internal communications, ad campaigns, website copy, social posts and competitions, and other content as required.
  • Support the company's retail sales efforts by coordinating orders and other tasks, as required.
  • Provide administrative and general office support.
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, English, or related field strongly preferred.
  • One to three years' related experience and/or training, preferably in an agency environment; supervisory experience preferred.
  • Fluency in social media management and strategy.
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • WordPress, or similar content management platforms required; basic knowledge of HTML preferred.
  • Experience with Adobe Design preferred.
  • Photography and video skills a plus.
  • Effective writing and proofreading skills required.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations, and keep current with trends in consumer marketing.
  • Ability to understand the consumer more fully via primary and secondary research methods.
  • Ability to write reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable.
  • Must be creative and innovative and willing to work with existing standards and procedures.
  • Must be able to consistently achieve high work standards; attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness.
