Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: Seeking skilled, well-rounded, and passionate Personal Trainers who are eager to make a positive impact on our members and team. The ideal candidate is dedicated to helping clients achieve their health and fitness goals while providing a supportive and motivating environment.

Personal Trainers must be able to work with clients of varying fitness levels and adapt training programs to accommodate individual limitations, injuries, or health concerns.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Can provide one-on-one and small group training sessions for members.
  • Develop personalized fitness programs based on client goals and abilities.
  • Monitor and track client progress and adjust programs as needed.
  • Maintain and manage client schedules.
  • Record and maintain clients’ health history and fitness assessments.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and build strong relationships with members.
  • Promote a safe, clean, and positive training environment.

 

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must have at least three years of Personal Training experience. 
  • Experience with aging populations is encouraged but not required. 
  • Experience with training for individuals playing Golf or Raquet sports is encouraged but not required.

 

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Must hold current Accredited Personal Training Certification from a recognized organization (e.g., ACE, NASM, AFAA).
  • Must have current Liability Insurance and CPR Certification.
  • Must hold current CPR/AED certification.
  • Golf (TPI), and/or Tennis (CTPS) conditioning certifications are encouraged, but not required. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

  • Group Fitness Certification is encouraged but not required.
  • Ability to work a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must possess great communication and customer service skills.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to perform and demonstrate physical exercises, including high-impact movements, lifting, stretching, and bending.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50-100, such as weights, mats, and fitness accessories.
  • Ability to observe and assist club members/guests with proper form, sometimes requiring close physical proximity. 
  • Normal vision and hearing ranges required.

 

GROOMING:

  • All employees must adhere to club standards and maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance.
