Job Description:
This role is a Software Engineer focused on designing, configuring, customizing, and supporting Atlassian solutions (Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and related tools) to improve product development, manufacturing, and quality management processes. The ideal candidate combines software development expertise with strong Jira administration and automation capabilities, leveraging Java, scripting languages, Agile methodologies, CI/CD integrations, and emerging AI technologies to deliver scalable, user-centric solutions. Experience in automotive manufacturing environments and cross-functional collaboration is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications and Atlassian-based solutions.
  • Configure and customize Jira, Jira Service Management, Jira Work Management, and Confluence to improve business processes and user experience.
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand pain points, and deliver user-focused solutions.
  • Design software architectures, determine technology stacks, and define deployment strategies.
  • Develop custom workflows, automations, integrations, APIs, scripts, and plugins within the Atlassian ecosystem.
  • Integrate Atlassian tools with enterprise systems, CI/CD pipelines, and development tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, and Maven.
  • Support AI/LLM-driven capabilities including ticket classification, summarization, recommendations, and workflow automation.
  • Create and maintain Confluence knowledge bases, permissions, documentation, and technical architecture artifacts.
  • Perform Atlassian data migrations while ensuring data integrity and minimal business disruption.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, engineers, and cross-functional teams to align solutions with business objectives.
  • Define testing strategies and support Agile, CI/CD, security, and quality best practices.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues, optimize system performance, and continuously improve development efficiency.
