Forklift Operator (FLO1 & FLO2) – All Shifts

Location: Lebanon, TN (Hixon Blvd - Global Logistics Hub)

Agency: Abacus Corporation – Smyrna Branch

SHIFT SCHEDULES & COMPENSATION

Abacus is building a "Ready-to-Work" pipeline for experienced equipment operators at a premier, climate-controlled government facility.

Shift Hours Pay Range (FLO1 & FLO2)

1st Shift Mon–Thu (5:00 AM – 3:30 PM) $18.00 – $19.00/hr

2nd Shift Mon–Thu (4:00 PM – 2:30 AM) $21.00 – $22.00/hr

Weekend (AWS)Fri–Sun (5:00 AM – 3:30 PM) $19.50 – $20.50/hr

## EQUIPMENT & TRAINING

  • FLO1 Requirements: Proficient in Cherry Picker (Order Picker) and Dock Stocker.

  • FLO2 Requirements: Advanced proficiency in Cherry Picker, Swing Reach, and Reach Truck.

  • The Safety Phase: All operators begin with one month of safety training. You will not operate equipment until you are officially certified onsite by the client. During this time, you will assist with general warehouse tasks involving brand-new laptop technology.

GOVERNMENT COMPLIANCE & SITE RULES

This is a high-security facility. All candidates must meet the following:

  • Citizenship Verification: Must provide an original Birth Certificate & ID OR a valid US Passport.

  • No Electronics: Personal electronics (phones, smartwatches, tablets) are strictly prohibited inside the warehouse.

  • Initiative: During downtime, operators are expected to stay busy by assisting other departments or organizing the facility.

  • The 11-Month Rule: Positions are Temp-to-Hire; eligibility for permanent hire begins near 11 months of service.

STRICT ATTENDANCE POLICY

We are looking for serious, career-minded professionals:

  • First 2 Weeks: Zero call-outs or absences permitted.

  • First 90 Days: Only one (1) call-out permitted.

  • Prior History: If you have previously worked at any FedEx facility, you must disclose this immediately as this may cause a delay in start time.

THE 3-PART APPLICATION PROCESS

  1. Digital: Apply and complete onboarding paperwork online.

  2. Clearance: Pass the required vetting and citizenship verification.

  3. Office Visit (Smyrna): Visit our office (105 Jefferson St) for a 45-minute finalization.

    • Forklift Testing: 20-minute video + 40-question test.

    • Safety Evaluation: Two 5-minute videos + 15-question test.

    • Drug Screen: 3-minute oral mouth swab.
