Job description

Redwire is an innovative space and defense technology company driving advanced capabilities across the aerospace sector. We are looking for a leader who can contribute to concept of operations development, mission solution design, and strategic analysis for spacecraft programs supporting National Security Space. This includes work spanning space domain awareness, space resiliency, mission autonomy, structures, sensors, and nextgeneration space systems.
The DevSecOps Scrum Master is a facilitator and coach who ensures that the Scrum framework is properly implemented and followed within a team. They work closely with the product owner and development team to guide the team through Agile practices, foster collaboration, and maintain focus on delivering value during each sprint. This role blends deep DevOps expertise, Linux and Kubernetes mastery, and systemslevel engineering judgment. Leads crossteam and guides team members on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and effective collaboration.
Major Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies - Organize and lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Remove impediments -Identify and eliminate obstacles that hinder team progress, both internal and external.
  • Coach and mentor - Guide team members on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and effective collaboration.
  • Support team self-organization - Encourage autonomy and accountability within the team while promoting transparency.
  • Monitor progress - Track sprint goals, manage Scrum boards, and analyze metrics like burndown charts to ensure timely delivery.
  • Conflict resolution - Address team disagreements and facilitate constructive communication.
  • Stakeholder collaboration - Work with stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Continuous improvement - Identify areas for process enhancement and implement best practices.
Ideal Experience
  • STEM foundation - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent STEM degree.
  • DevOps experience - 5-8 years in DevOps, infrastructure automation, or platform engineering.
  • Agile methodologies - Strong knowledge of Scrum framework
  • Excellent communication - Strong leadership, and interpersonal skillsAbility to facilitate meetings, resolve conflicts, and coach teams.
  • DevSecOps practices - Secrets management, supplychain security, segmentation, compliance.
  • Technical leadership - Ability to lead initiatives, collaborate across teams, and mentor engineers. Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Confluence, Jira and/or Cameo.
  • Enterprisegrade CI/CD - Experience designing and scaling CI/CD pipelines and crossservice build orchestration. Deep experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cluster hardening, and operator development.
Desired Skills
  • Cloud certifications - Azure, AWS, or GCP Solutions Architect or equivalent.
  • GitOps workflows - ArgoCD, Flux, or similar tooling.
  • Hybrid/multicloud architecture - Designing hybrid or multicloud operational environments.
  • Modeling & simulation compute - Supporting compute environments for simulation or digitalengineering workloads.
  • Regulated industry experience - Aerospace, defense, or other highcompliance domains.
  • Infrastructure security & compliance - Security tooling, auditing frameworks, automated policy enforcement.
  • Opensource contributions - DevOps or infrastructurerelated projects.
  • Crossteam collaboration - Navigating priorities, articulating tradeoffs, and advocating for engineering standards.
  • Security eligibility - U.S. Citizen; able to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred).
Pay range
$108,000 - $190,000 per year
