Kitchen Lead

Location: Marietta
Pay: $18.00/hour
Position: Kitchen Lead
Shift: Mon-Thurs. 12pm-8pm, Fri. 10am-6pm

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide direction to volunteers who prepare and serve meals.
• Manage court ordered community service workers and delegate their job duties.
• Manage after meal clean up process.
• Enforce kitchen safety and organizational protocols.
• Assist in meal preparation in the absence of a meal provider.
• Ensure facilities are in order for daily operations.
• Monitor clients during meal service.
• Opening/closing shift responsibilities.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Essential Requirements

• High School Diploma, or GED.
• Knowledge of kitchen and food safety requirements.
• ServSafe certification is preferred or completion of certification within 60 days of hire.
• Four years or more experience in a kitchen or restaurant is preferred.
• Prior experience in a supervisory position is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office is preferred.

Physical and Work Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, carrying, pushing, pulling, kneeling and reaching.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Work environment is in kitchen equipped with commercial appliances.
