Job Summary:
AnySignal is developing the next generation of RF products and services for demanding space and defense missions. The Forward Deployed Engineer will be responsible for installing embedded devices at customer sites, managing data flow, and ensuring robust performance of network systems.
Responsibilities:
• Install and configure embedded devices at customer sites.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers during installation and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of RF technologies with customer systems.
• Develop and maintain networking protocols and software for embedded Linux, cloud, and lab environments.
• Ensure the reliability and performance of network systems in terrestrial and space applications.
• Implement and manage containerized services for network operations.
• Provide feedback on architecture, design, and code to ensure software systems meet requirements.
• Contribute to the instrumentation and optimization of communication software.
Qualifications:
Required:

• In order to comply with the space technology export rules of the U.S. Government, such as the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), it is necessary to be a U.S. citizen, a lawful U.S. permanent resident, a protected individual as specified by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or possess eligibility to secure the necessary authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
Preferred:
• 4+ years of experience in developing software for Linux-based systems.
• Expertise in C++, C, and/or Python.
• Experience with GNURadio.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP, UDP, etc.).
• Experience with software-defined radios (SDRs) and RF technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Proven ability to write production-quality code.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers and cross-functional teams effectively.
• Knowledge of digital signal processing and embedded systems.
• Formal education in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
