Brief Description of Duties
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides medical oversight and coordinates healthcare services for youth in Eagle Village's residential treatment program. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, physicians, therapists, medical assistants, and residential staff, the RN supports the physical and emotional well-being of the youth served.
This role is responsible for managing day-to-day healthcare needs, triaging medical concerns, coordinating care with community providers, overseeing medication-related processes, maintaining regulatory compliance, and ensuring accurate medical documentation. The RN serves as a key resource for staff, youth, families, pharmacies, and healthcare providers while exercising sound clinical judgment and independent decision-making.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and committed to providing high-quality, trauma-informed care to children and adolescents. Strong communication skills, critical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential for success in this role.
Requirements
Brief Description on Any Preferences
Must possess and maintain a valid license to practice as a Register Nurse in the State of Michigan.
Three to five years' experience in a psychiatric setting preferred. Must have a minimum of three years' experience in the medical field. Be of good moral character and emotionally stable. Maintain continuing education credits as outlined by the State of Michigan licensing requirements.
