Job description

Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Prepared By: Corporate Human Resources

Summary Inspect parts, products and/or processes to insure conformance with standards. Inspects materials or products using fixed or variable measuring instruments. Checks for irregularities and defects. Compares product with parts list to ensure completion of assembly. Verifies specified dimensions on product or material by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Coordinates with engineering, sales and manufacturing personnel to effectively resolve problems related to product design, materials, specifications and/or manufacturing operations.
  • Ensures all quality control policies, procedures, directives and systems are in compliance with company and/or applicable federal regulations, continually strives to increase the level of quality assurance within the facility.
  • Ensures all safety policies and procedures are followed in accordance with guidelines established by the Company in accordance with OSHA regulations.
