We are hiring Quality Control Inspectors  (Temp-to-Hire)

Location: Yucaipa, CA 92399
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour (based on experience)
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Position Summary

We are seeking motivated, detail-oriented individuals to join our Quality Assurance team as Quality Control Inspectors I, II, or III. These positions are responsible for inspecting products and verifying they meet company and customer quality standards. Placement will be based on your experience, technical knowledge, and qualifications.

Quality Control Inspector I (Entry Level)

Quality Control Inspector I is an entry-level position responsible for performing product inspections using quality plans and basic measuring equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect products using quality control plans and inspection procedures.
  • Operate measurement tools including TESA, OGP, pin gages, drop gages, concentricity gages, micrometers, and microscopes.
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections using manual and automated equipment.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Verify product conformance to quality standards.
  • Identify basic defects and perform sorting and lot control activities.
  • Complete required documentation and basic computer data entry.
  • Follow work instructions, travelers, and quality procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety policies, PPE requirements, and hazardous material guidelines.
  • Work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly in English.
Quality Control Inspector II (Intermediate)

Quality Control Inspector II performs inspections with minimal supervision and supports continuous quality improvement activities.

Responsibilities
  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections independently.
  • Set up, calibrate, and verify inspection equipment.
  • Identify and document non-conforming products.
  • Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and inspection procedures.
  • Train and support Quality Control Inspector I employees.
  • Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records.
Quality Control Inspector III (Advanced)

Quality Control Inspector III is responsible for advanced inspections, technical problem-solving, and supporting quality system improvements.

Responsibilities
  • Independently perform complex dimensional inspections and measurements.
  • Interpret advanced engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Troubleshoot quality issues and collaborate with Engineering and Production teams.
  • Verify calibration systems and inspection processes.
  • Support internal and customer audits.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor and develop lower-level inspectors.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements and Quality Management Systems.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Technical training or quality certifications are preferred.
  • Previous quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred (level dependent).
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
