Your role:
ReSource Pro is looking for experienced Loss Control Surveyors to join ReSource Pro's team of auditors and surveyors. Please note this is a 1099/contract position.
The Loss Control Surveyor will complete and submit loss control survey reports to ReSource Pro. The process of completing the report involves setting an appointment with the policyholder, conducting an interview to verify operations, photographing the property, and identifying any hazards. The Loss Control Surveyor will then write up the report on the provided web-based system and submit it to ReSource Pro for quality assurance and processing.

*This position is based in Tooele, UT with the occasional visits to remote areas.
You will be:
  • Scheduling appointments.
  • Visiting the insured's location.
  • Conducting onsite interview with the insured.
  • Surveying/inspecting the location.
  • Identifying hazards.
  • Taking digital photos.
  • Making improvement recommendations.
  • Measuring and calculating square footage.
  • Delivering a thorough online report after the visit.
What you need to be successful:
  • Ability to take occasional trips to more remote areas in Tooele, UT.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Computer: preferably laptop, with high-speed internet access (Microsoft Windows operating system, or Mac with a Windows virtual machine installed.)
  • Measurement device.
  • Digital camera or cell phone capable of taking pictures.
  • State Issued Worker's Compensation. (Preferred)
  • Certificate of General Liability Insurance. (Preferred)
  • LLC Articles or Certificate of Organization. (Preferred)
  • Strong commitment to superior service.
  • Strong sense of self-motivation and self-discipline.
  • Superior organizational, time management and computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present to both technical and non-technical audiences; interacts tactfully and effectively in difficult situations.
  • Represent ReSource Pro when on job sites in a positive and professional manner
  • Able to adjust to new situations and changing priorities.
  • Develops a high degree of trust through demonstrated personal integrity and ethical behavior.

Your Interview Process:

Compensation:
As a contractor, you have the flexibility to propose your own rate for this engagement. Compensation will be based on the mutually agreed rate between the contractor and the company, taking into consideration the scope of work, experience, and industry standards. Please provide your desired hourly or project-based rate when applying. Note that as a 1099 contractor, you will be responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and any other employment-related expenses. Our budgeted range for this contract is $40.00 per billable hour.
