Arkansas Talent Group is seeking a Bid Coordinator I for a temp-to-permanent opportunity supporting a growing organization focused on government construction contract project work. This role is integral to driving new business by coordinating the full lifecycle of proposal development, from opportunity identification through submission and award execution.
The Bid Coordinator I will work cross-functionally to develop competitive, compliant proposals while managing deadlines, vendor coordination, and documentation. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and interested in growing within a structured, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and develop proposals in response to identified business opportunities
- Review solicitation requirements and collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and compliant submissions
- Distribute requests for quotes to subcontractors and vendors and track responses to ensure competitive coverage
- Evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes for completeness, competitiveness, and alignment with project requirements
- Ensure all proposal components are accurate, properly formatted, and submitted within required timelines
- Support contract award processes, including coordination with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Participate in internal meetings and support cross-functional collaboration across operations, finance, and leadership teams
- Maintain organized documentation and proposal records for compliance and audit readiness
- Identify opportunities to improve proposal processes, turnaround time, and overall quality
- Manage multiple proposals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of experience in administrative support, proposal coordination, procurement, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Procurement, or a related field
Skills and Competencies
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Ability to interpret requirements and translate them into actionable steps
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with proposal or procurement systems is a plus
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Strong problem-solving and process improvement mindset
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
