Position Summary

My Client, located in Montgomery County, has an immediate need for a Manager of Engineering.

The Manager of Engineering leads the day-to-day execution, coordination, and operational management of structural engineering projects and technical production teams. The role is responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate delivery of projects in accordance with RCG standards for quality, schedule, and budget performance. This position combines technical leadership with operational oversight, integrating engineering execution, staffing coordination, workload management, QA/QC oversight, and production accountability across all projects.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required

Minimum 10+ years of structural engineering experience. Project and/or team management experience for 2+ years preferred.

Licensure/Certification: Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license in Pennsylvania required; ability to obtain additional state licensure as required

• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities;

o Advanced knowledge of structural engineering analysis and design principles

o Experience using AutoCAD, and/or Revit

o Strong understanding of project budgeting, staff utilization, and production management

o Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures and engineering standards

o Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

o Strong organizational, leadership, and time management skills

o Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and staffing priorities

• Other Requirements

o Proficiency in MS Office and CORE project management systems

o Commitment to professional development and operational improvement

o Valid driver’s license for project site visits and client meetings
