Join our dynamic and thriving dental practice as a Part Time Traveling Periodontics Assistant. At Great Expressions Dental Centers, we're seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join our team and positively impact our patients' oral health. Part Time Schedule: Mon Bloomfield 9a-4p, Tues Canton, Thurs Livonia 8a-5p This position travels between our Canton, Livnonia, and Bloomfield offices Responsibilities: Assist our experienced dental team in providing exceptional patient care Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure a clean and organized environment Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care Support dentists during procedures, anticipating their needs and ensuring smooth workflow Perform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentist Manage appointment scheduling and maintain patient records accurately Qualifications: 1-3 years of previous dental assisting experience Some experience in Periodontics preferred MUST TRAVEL Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in dental software and technology is a plus Requirements: Before applying, it is imperative that you meet the state requirements outlined below. Michigan: Upon hiring, you are required to furnish evidence of X-ray training certification. If you do not possess certification at the time of hiring, you are granted an 8-week period to submit it.
