Job Summary:

Memorial Health University Medical Center is seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon to lead its well-established and highly regarded Cardiothoracic Surgery practice within the expanding Heart and Vascular Institute in beautiful Savannah, GA. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a collaborative, forward-thinking cardiovascular team within one of the region’s leading tertiary referral centers. 
Qualified Candidates:
  • Experience in buidling and leading a CT surgery program
  • This will be a medical director role
  • Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery 
  • Fellowship trained in adult Cardiac Surgery preferred    
  • Proficient in all aspects of adult cardiothoracic surgery    
  • Experience with multi-arterial CABG, minimally invasive coronary surgery, MIDCAB procedures, and/or interest in robotic-assisted coronary and Totally Endoscopic Coronary Artery Bypass (TECAB) techniques is highly desirable but not required
  • Eligible for or holding an unrestricted Georgia medical license (free of restrictions, probationary terms, or conditions)
  • No history of license revocation, restriction, or suspension in any jurisdiction
  • Have current, unrestricted DEA registration
