Position Overview
Diptyque is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results-driven Sales & Education Manager to support the Pacific Northwest region. This role is responsible for driving sales performance, elevating brand presence, and fostering a culture of excellence across assigned retail partners and points of distribution.
The Sales & Education Manager will partner closely with retailer leadership and cross-functional teams to execute strategic business initiatives, develop high-performing teams, and ensure a consistently elevated client experience aligned with Diptyque's brand standards and values.
This position is based in San Francisco, California and supports Northern California, Utah, Colorado, Washington, Oregon, Vancouver (CA), and Calgary (CA). Travel is required up to 60%.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
  • Drive weekly, monthly, and annual sales performance across the assigned region
  • Analyze business trends and identify opportunities to drive growth and profitability
  • Develop and execute strategic action plans to support sales goals and retail partner expectations
  • Lead seasonal business reviews and sales strategy meetings with retailer partners
  • Partner with retailers to negotiate and execute in-store animations, events, and brand visibility opportunities
  • Monitor competitive activity and market trends, providing qualitative feedback and business insights
  • Identify regional marketing and clienteling opportunities to strengthen customer engagement and loyalty
  • Support successful new door openings including staffing, training, merchandising, inventory readiness, and launch execution

Talent Leadership & Development
  • Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop high-performing retail teams across the region
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and elevated service standards
  • Provide consistent in-store coaching and actionable feedback to support team development and business growth
  • Partner with retailer leadership on performance management, succession planning, and talent development
  • Analyze productivity and staffing performance to identify opportunities and support business needs
  • Ensure stores are appropriately staffed, trained, and positioned for success

Education & Brand Experience
  • Champion Diptyque's selling ceremony, product knowledge, and client experience standards across all locations
  • Ensure all team members complete onboarding and education curriculum requirements
  • Partner closely with the Education team to identify training opportunities and facilitate regional training initiatives
  • Execute trainings, product presentations, retailer rallies, and in-store education events
  • Ensure retailer teams are consistently equipped with tools, product knowledge, and storytelling techniques to deliver an elevated client experience

Visual Merchandising & Operations
  • Ensure visual merchandising standards are consistently executed in alignment with brand guidelines
  • Partner with Visual Merchandising teams to elevate brand presence and identify space optimization opportunities
  • Maintain strong operational standards and support retailer execution across all locations
  • Manage T&E budget responsibly and in alignment with business needs

Strategic & Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retailer leadership and cross-functional business partners
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Education, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, and Operations teams to support regional business objectives
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, representing Diptyque with professionalism, creativity, and a luxury mindset
  • Provide ongoing business insights and field feedback to support strategic decision-making

Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of luxury retail sales experience
  • Proven success driving sales performance and leading high-performing teams
