Description:

Campany Roofing is looking for an estimator who will use their experience and interpersonal skills to inspire exceptional performance. As a Roofing Estimator, you will be responsible for preliminary budgets, milestone cost estimates, and final bid scope/pricing proposals for all sitework for a given project. You will have the opportunity to estimate government, commercial, and residential projects. The Roofing Construction Estimator must be able to effectively build relationships with team members, internal and external customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities:

· Organize and track invitations to bid assigned to you.

· Prepare quantity take-offs and estimated costs of materials, labor, and use of equipment required to fulfill all provisions of the contract from simple to complex.

· Evaluate labor pricing/production for specific projects and/or locations

· Demonstrate proficiency in material, labor, sub and equipment pricing for all trade disciplines.

· Consult with clients, subcontractors, and material supplies to discuss and formulate estimates, effect cost reductions, and resolve issues.

· Ultimately responsible for review of the final estimate with management then packaging together for the customer.

· Communicate with superintendents and PMs on key issues, such as project schedule, addenda, scope of work, and other bid information during project hand off meetings.

· Proficient in CAD and other detail drawings and the ability to create them as needed.

· Ability to put together submittal packages for large scale projects and Government projects

Requirements:

· 5 years roofing or construction experience required 6+ preferred

· Bachelor’s degree in in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management preferred.

· Extensive experience bidding complex, competitive projects.

· Experience bidding government work and submitting CAD drawings and submittals.

· A proven track record of success working internally with an operations team.

· Must be able to read plans and perfume material take-offs.

· Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

· Must have the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background screening.

· Working knowledge of the Edge system a plus.
