We're hiring a Pipe Welder I for our Northwest Houston area client! We are looking for experienced, safety-focused pipe welders with multiple welding process experience who are ready to interview immediately!

DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:

Job Title: Pipe Welder I NIGHTS
Location: Northwest Houston, TX 77041
Pay: $16.00–$23.00/hour (based on experience and weld test results)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00PM–5:30AM (Overtime available with occasional Saturdays as needed; Saturday work is typically communicated on Thursdays)
Duration: Temp-to-Hire

Description of Duties: Perform pipe welding and fabrication using SMAW (Stick), GMAW (MIG), and FCAW (Flux Core) welding processes. Weld pipe and related components according to established welding procedures and quality specifications. Utilize carbon arc gouging and related techniques to remove and repair welding defects as needed. Inspect work throughout the welding process and maintain production, quality, and safety standards in an industrial fabrication shop environment.

Requirements: Previous pipe welding and fabrication experience required. Candidates must have hands-on experience with SMAW (Stick), GMAW (MIG), FCAW (Flux Core), and gouging. Must be able to follow welding procedures and successfully pass required employer performance and certification testing. Candidates must be able to perform 6G weld testing, including 6-inch and 2-inch pipe at a 45-degree fixed position. Strong attention to weld quality, safety, and reliability are required.
